Catholic Senior Executive Leader

The Newman Catholic Collegiate is a group of nine schools that work together for the common good. We are excited about the opportunity to merge with other MACs locally so we can have a shared experience that benefits all children in North Staffordshire.

We are committed to a school-led, school improvement structure that is Christ centred, and child-centred. We have a deep commitment to Catholic social teaching. Our parishes are integral to the work that we do and we strive to involve our communities in our work. We believe that academy structures, done well, allow the common good to flourish and offer the best route to future Catholic educational excellence. We are committed to supporting the Diocesan vision, as we know that working together as a Catholic community we can achieve much more.

Improvements are led by our schools. We believe in providing the time, space and opportunity for great teachers to learn from one another. Our teachers work together cross phase to ensure we are providing the best possible 2-19 Catholic education. We use our central systems to remove burdens from our schools to ensure they can focus on school improvement. Our 3-year strategy is focused on working together to ensure the best practice and initiatives are shared across the Collegiate. These form the golden thread of impact that underpins all the work that we do.

The children and young people across our schools deserve Catholic excellence and a curriculum that allows their fullest expression and formation. Our teachers work together to drive curriculum improvement ensuring that Christ is at the Centre of everything that we do. We are driven by our Mission and want to work with all our communities to grow together for Life. We believe that our family of schools are the future of Catholic education and commit to sharing with and learning from others. 

Our dedicated Principals, teachers and wider school community work with our families to understand the needs of every child. Every child is unique and every child is special. Our mission demands the relentless pursuit of Catholic Excellence through shared Gospel Values for all Newman children.
